Genie

Fatmoon Studios packed up the swag and headed out to work with the gutsy disability support service IAS,
​based in Inverell, northern NSW.

​What began as a series of media workshops, turned into a full blown film project. There had to be a funny way to highlight transport issues for People with Disability in rural towns! We combined good old-fashioned country talent with Sydney-based industry professionals. The script was devised with clients of IAS, and gives a unique insight into someone else's world and humour... for a scriptwriter this is wordy gold! Filmed on location in Inverell, the hardy cast and crew withstood rain, wind, hail and (oddly) sunshine to create this (now) country classic.
